A Visit To Digha With My Friends For The First Time.

After a long time suddenly Soma (my school friend) pinged me up saying “we are planing to go Digha, as you willing to go?”. After reading it I was excited and thrilled too. She informed Tutu, Nandini will also be joining us. Just without giving the second thought I answered :”surely I will do, just tell me the date” When I inform my parents about the trip, they allowed me without any hesitation. So we four soma, Tutu, Nandini and Me four of us finally successfully planned to go to Digha, West Bengal. Here in this blog post of Adkratsubsity Talks I will share the amazing stories of it and few photographs as a beginner.

We Four of Us

I was much excited as this was my first trip with my friends alone. It was just a 2 days trip, but full to activities and enjoyments. I was in the month of October 2012, I forgot the exact date, sorry! We reached Howrah station at 8.30 am. We had reservation for The Paharia Express. As usual the train was late for 2 hours. The journey was amazing, the long train rail line left behind, the green fields at both sides captured my eyes. We had a small snacks breakfast in train, after long time meeting with such close friends we started gossiping the whole journey, keeping those green fields with us.

Finally we reached Digha station near about 12.00 am. We took van-rickshaw and went to hotel “New Land Inn”. The hotel was good neat and clean. As we were too hungry we planned to have a lunch fast. We ordered Pamphlet, Ilish, Chingri etc. The famous sea foods we get in Digha, West Bengal. Here at Adkratsubsity Talk we can find some of those pictures too.

Then we decided to go to the beach and have fun. It was afternoon, and the idle time to go to beach and enjoy. The huge waves welcomed us and we just can’t stop ourself and enjoyed the sea “The Bay of Bengal”. There were many visitors, children playing balls at the sea. It was really pleasant time.

Then the most outstanding scenic view drew our attention. Its was the sunset. I twas really very beautiful which cannot to expressed in words.

Then after returning back to our hotel we got fresh up and planned to go to market to look various sea foods, fishes, crabs, prawns etc and also to do shopping. While coming back from sea shore to hotel there was many small shops selling gift items, decorative pieces made of sea shells etc. We were lucky enough to see various types of crabs, prawns in the market. We also bought some dry foods like cashew nuts from Chacha’s shop.

The next day to went to the sea shore again to see the sunrise and have a horse ride too. It was an amazing, beautiful scenic view, which will draw your attention at any cost. We enjoyed there some time.

Its was our second day to return back. We were feeling sad as again we all four of us we lead our individual daily hassle full of life. No sure when we will again meet and plan for another trip. After returning home we planned several tours, but still none off got success. One or the other among us is having some problem to fix out next trip. Hence till now it was the first and last trip to Digha with my friends.
